16/17th October: Muck Diving Photography Masterclass, with James Emery

Click here to see all our webinars.

Muck diving is about slowing down and searching sandy or silty seabeds for unusual creatures, from tiny shrimp to well-camouflaged frogfish. For photographers, the subjects are compelling, but their surroundings can be less flattering. Limited visibility and backscatter can add to the challenge.

Join award-winning photographer James Emery to explore different ways of photographing these critters. Drawing on years of experience as a resident photo pro, James will share creative approaches to lighting and composition that will help you make more of each encounter, whether you’re planning your first muck dive or looking for fresh inspiration.
