In June 2023, TUC Founder Nicolas Remy and Matt Waters (Host of the ScubaGoat podcast and dive travel agency Nomadic Scuba) travelled to Jordan to take part in the inaugural Aqaba Underwater Photography Competition. The invitation-only contest was a “live shootout”, which challenged 20 of the best underwater shooters to compete in-person, on the theme of wreck photography.
