    Hello Grace,

    Great first attempt !! So following on from Nicolas I think my favourite out of this batch is the seahorse but think it would’ve looked even better with more of the face lit up. By adjusting the angle of the light you can get a bit more of the facial features lit up even though its brow may be protruding.

    For the exposure like Nicolas said, I would try and select to do this technique on darker days or perhaps under the bridge in the shade where there’s less ambient light. Another thing you can do is use ND filters, this will reduce the overall amount of ambient light but will mean your strobe will probably have to be on full power.

    Then finally with the edit to get rid of that cyan hue what you can do is in the HSL panel, slide the aqua slider in the hue to turn those colours more blue and also i would suggest bringing up the dehaze to get rid of that hazy effect that this long exposure technique creates.
