Thank you for the congratulatons; I am very happy with the results I am achieving.

And thanks for the critique; it is definitely targeted and helpful 😊
I, too, am a fan of black backgrounds and capture many photos with that style. However, as you rightly pointed out, occasional variations are necessary.

Regarding the points you raised:

1. “I felt it had a blue cast overall.”
   You’re absolutely right; I can’t understand how I missed that.
2. “I would like to be closer and see more details: I think a crop onto the center would make the photo stronger.”
   Now you told me, I absoultely agree.
3. “Rotate the image to bring the stick closer to the diagonal.”
   Very true as well.

Usually, I pay more attention to composition, perhaps I was too focused on the background and neglected other aspects.

I’ve attempted to modify the image following your advice, and it indeed appears more powerful.
I look forward to hearing your opinion and that of other participants on the platform.
