Yes auto-ISO definitely, with shutter speed and aperture both manually controlled (slightly adjusted in case of major ambient light change).

I believe there are shark popping up throughout the day in this site (contrary to the previous Monad Shoal, where it was an early morning thing), but all operators seem to favor the 06am-12pm timeframe, so maybe more action that time of the day.

I agree the site is well worth of a dive even without sharks, who knows there might be ways to allow strobe use if it was later in the day with fewer sharks about.
