I don’t have first hand experience with this camera, but this definitely looks like you’re going over the camer max sync speed.

If you’re not, then it’s a sync issue on the camera / flash trigger / flash chain. I have found flash triggers to sometimes not working till the camera’s max sync speed (see my Nikon Z8 review). If that’s the case, obviously it’s up to the manufacturer of that trigger to step in.

Now it’s possible that “exotic” trigger modes like the silent shutter cause issues, you might want to stay out of them.

Regarding the fact that the darker band changes in “thickness”, this can be due to varying power settings on the strobe (the more powerful, the longer the strobe light shines).
