Definitely put on the flat diffusers, they will help smoothen and widen the ATOMs light beam, so you can cover a wider surface more easily.
You said that you’ve edited the photo to show the shadow so my judgement is biaised (every strobe beam gets darker the further you are from the center) but it looks like your strobes are just too close to the subject, if your goal is to project a wider pool of light.
For general wide angle, I recommend you get 2 extra arm sections of 5 inches, so each strobe is connected to the camera with 5+8 inches arm (that means +2 clamps too), so you can spread them further away, and then position them at 10 and 2 o clock positions.
