THIS IS A FABULOUS TOPIC TO DISCUSS!

I’ve really struggled with trying to find a neutrally buoyant setup but also one that doesn’t create any additional drag than it has to. My macro setup is more neutrally buoyant than my wide angle one is but neither is perfect- and, as you’d imagine, my macro set-up has A LOT of drag. Strobes, floaties, snoot, the lanyard! 😣 I have my go-to setup for both macro and wide angle and have tried to add another arm or additional floaty to help with buoyancy for macro but then find swimming with it is harder. And less range of motion with the arms if I try to stick an extra floaty on a pre-existing arm. Add a current and I’m TIRED. Granted I probably look like I’m playing the old whack-a-mole game swimming around too much on one subject or to multiple subjects but you get my point. 😉
