I’ll add a shout out for west coast USA for small critters to photograph. From San Diego and Channel Islands, to Monterey, to the Seattle area (or further north to Vancouver Island and God’s Pocket). There are many varieties of nudis as you’d expect. Small fringeheads are popular in Monterey right now. And at certain times of the year the Pacific Lumpsuckers are super popular around Seattle. Just to name a few. Not tropical, but lots of macro options available if you’re looking for something different.
