Well, that’s a wrap for July!
A big thank you to everyone who joined our Negative Space challenge.
I wasn’t quite sure where this theme would take us, and you’ve all proven that “negative space” can mean something different to every photographer. From dreamy bokeh and soft minimalist compositions to dramatic black backgrounds and even a journey into outer space, it was fantastic to see so many creative interpretations.
What I enjoyed most was reading the conversations behind the images. Members shared articles, discussed different approaches to composition, exchanged constructive feedback, and openly reflected on what they would do differently next time. That’s exactly what these challenges are all about—learning from one another and growing together.
To everyone who posted an image, commented, asked questions or simply followed along—thank you for helping make this such a supportive and inspiring community.
And if this month’s challenge pushed you a little outside your comfort zone… that’s probably a good sign. 😊
I’m already looking forward to seeing where next month’s challenge takes us.
