Ian, fantastic work, and thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed description of your creative process. It’s fascinating to see how many everyday materials can produce completely different effects.
My personal favourites are the orange, pink and blue backgrounds—they each give the little dragon a completely different mood and really add to the story of the image.
I also love that you experimented with the same subject rather than stopping after the first successful result. That’s exactly what this month’s challenge was all about. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with once you take these ideas underwater!
