I found this month’s challenge particularly… well, challenging! I’m very impressed with all the photos and funky backgrounds shared.

The first post from @jocudmore set the bar very high – I love the crisp silhouette of Mexichromis against a glittery (and color-matching) backdrop.

Like @Ariane I watched Ipah’s masterclass to get some inspiration, but unlike her, I didn’t practice at home, so I have nothing to show for my attempts at a psychedelic background with a CD.

I fared a little better with a steel wool scrubber, but still, it took a lot of trial and error: funky backgrounds are not easy at all!

2. Doto: ISO 200, 1/80 sec, f/8.0
