Hi Tony, what a very different take on photographing an ocy, a creative perspective. I like that you have included not only the eye, but also the tentacles, which really gives it perspective and provides interesting framing, especially in image 1. The conical/oval shape of image 1 draws me in to explore some more. Image 2 creates more drama and mystery while keeping interesting shapes and patterns of the tentacles; this would be my choice. Image 3 strengthens your mystery story, but I find it a little too dark for my tastes, as it loses many of the interesting shapes and textures in image 2. I guess it comes down to what you want the viewer to experience, visually and emotionally.
