To those joining the workshop next month,

First of all I can’t wait to get there 😀

Second, you may have seen that the competition dates have shifted by 1 day, now running 25-29th June, with the awards ceremony on 29th June evening, but I believe everyone is fine to stay till then.

On the positive side – that means 1 extra day (24th June) where I’ll be giving a lecture and will be able to give feedback on your photos. From 25th June onwards the competition will be ON, and I won’t be able to review your images for neutrality reasons, as I’ll be then on judging duties.

Please find here the updated rules for this year’s competition.

Couple of stand-out points:

• Registration from 07am on 25th June
  
• Final entries with its RAW files should be submitted in a USB/flashdrive from 9:00AM to 4:00PM on June 28, 2026 at Dauin Municipal Conference Hall, Poblacion 2, Dauin.
  
• Judging of entries will be on June 28, 2026 right after the submission of entries to June 29, 2026.
  
• The Awarding and Closing Ceremony will be on June 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Venue will be announced during the registration.

Make sure to bring a laptop of tablet where you can edit your photos, and a flash drive that can connect to it. Also, best to have a backup memory card for your camera. It’s extremely rare but these can fail, I’ll bring a spare SD card just in case.
