Love this, Nick — such a creative use of the conditions in front of you. What some would see as “too many particles,” you’ve turned into atmosphere and mood.
The glowing outline of the subject against the dark frame works beautifully, and the suspended backscatter almost feels like sparks or embers drifting through the water.
Also a great reminder that sometimes strong images come from seeing opportunity in imperfect conditions, not waiting for perfect ones. Brilliant!
