Hey Ian, great to see the Atom adapters working well for you as beam restricters.

I feel the pain with backscatter, we have very murky water here in Monterey CA. I find my best option is to get close to the subject (like everyone says!) and try to control the light as much as possible, usually with a snoot (for small subjects). Still tricky though!
