    Hi Richard

I have only done about 10 dives with my new Atom flashes, and so far so good, really happy with them. They are fairly compact and easy to adjust the controls. I like the very large power setting dial and the fact that you have a 1000 lumen focusing light, excellent when using restrictors or snoot, 3 power levels and the same for red. It took me a while to practice adjusting the focus light. I have not jumped into the RH top menu button at all. I did the other day push it by accident and wondered why my strobe did not fire. I had put it into Olympus mode by accident. I was immediately worried and, for some reason check the menu setting, a trap I am glad I learnt about. The strobes are easy to manoeuvre underwater and recycle quickly; I am rarely on full power. I did purchase the recommended Xtar batteries and am happy with their performance. I did use them the other weekend for wide-angle, and they seem to have sufficient power and coverage. I also purchased a set of the flat and dome diffusers that attach very easily. Overall, I am very happy with them. Let me know what you think, or if you have any specific questions. I would be happy to Zoom with you if that’s easier. All the best, Ian
