Thank you for the response.
All my editing currently is being done on a MacBook Pro with a nanoscale display. I like the quality of the display, but would like to get a larger monitor for desktop use.
Photo and video editing will only be about 30% of what I use the monitor for. Other tasks will be browsing, watching videos, etc. I’m not into gaming.
Most output of my edits will be for social media, so color calibration (and even resolution) is probably not so critical. I do plan to print my best images, for which it will be important to preview what I’ll get on the prints.
The Dell has several features that are attractive given my intended use—it supports up to 4 computer inputs so I can use my PC and MacBook at the same time, has multiple ports, is plenty big, and seemingly good enough color/resolution for anything I want to do on the editing front.
