Hi Jo,

Sorry to hear about these struggles, hopefully I or someone else from the Club can help you pinpoint the issue.

Just to confirm, your setup is:

1. Lightroom Classic
2. LR Catalogue stored on your Mac’s internal SSD
3. You’re importing photos from your SD card, you’ve setup the import options so the photos are copied onto another location, for which you’ve chosen an external hard-dive (or was it an external SSD)?
4. Photos on that external drive are also copied onto a NAS, automatically.

Couple of questions:

-Was this how you usually import your photos? Anything that you changed in your setup recently?

-How much data are you trying to import at once (how many GBs of files on your SD card, roughly)?
