    Hi @jacobguymedia

Thanks for chipping in, the Weefine WED-5 Pro (assuming that’s the one you helped design) has amazing specs and is competitively priced!

Great that the HDMI cable has been reinforced, I know this was a common criticism of the more affordable external monitors.

The weight in air and in-water sounds very reasonable too, and an auto-dimming screen sounds ideal to maximise battery life, provided it remains easy to see through in the field.

Can I ask what sort of battery it uses, and how long they’d typically last in your experience?

The monitor I’ll be trying out is the Nauticam T7, bigger (7 inches) but much heavier (about -0.8kg in water) and I am scratching my head as to how I’ll be able to balance my rig.

One spec I am unclear about (for all monitors) is the resolution:

-the Weefine WED-5 Pro has a Full HD IPS LCD (1920×1080), but it says it supports 4K/60fps HDMI input

-the Nauticam T7 also has a 1920×1080 resolution, and a 4KP30 with HDMI input

The first spec is clear (resolution of the screen) but could you clear out what the latter spec is about, and how it matters to stills vs video shooters?
