I’m a relatively new member myself, so definitely not an expert just yet, but happy to share my thoughts 🙂

I love the colours of the crab and the coral he’s hiding in, as well as the nice black “window” in the background. And you managed to capture the feeding behaviour, which makes the shot extra special.

If I can suggest something, is to re-think the composition, as the small crab is very much to the edge of the photo, which – to me – feels a bit imbalanced. Maybe try cropping the shot a little to place the crab in the power point, so that the viewer’s attention is drown to the subject immediately? Nicolas describes the power points of a photo in the “Composition Underwater” lesson in the “Intro to UW Photography” course, here in the club – if you haven’t done the course yet, I strongly recommend it.

Another thing I notice is that the crab is partially in the shadow – not sure if this can be fixed in editing – by increasing the exposure (just for the crab) a little bit?
