I just remembered I used Vegas Movie Maker Pro on my desktop PC several years ago to edit GoPro videos after GoPro stopped supporting Hero7 with Quik. I think I even bought it. While powerful, I found the learning curve pretty steep. While I was able to make some decent videos, it was not easy.
So far the iMovie seems to do what I need (after watching a couple YouTube videos). I’ve also seen that iMovie shortcuts are similar to Davinci and FinalCut Pro so when/if I upgrade the learning curve hopefully will not be as steep.
