Yes, last time I checked with the resort we still had several spots left.
Indeed, you could easily combine Malapascua’s Thresher sharks and this workshop in Dauin, the airport is the same (Cebu).
I wrote a report on our 2024 visit to the thresher here, perhaps that can help with your trip planning, it’s well worth doing as I believe it remains the only location where you can reliably see and photograph these guys.
Silver Reef might be able to coordinate transfers from Malapascua to/from Dauin, unless you’re happy to organise that yourself.
Let me know if you need more infos about either places. One thing to know about Dauin is we’ll be able to visit nearby Apo island which is good for wide-angle, so your fisheye/WA won’t be useful just for the sharks 🙂
