What a lovely nudi & composition. The algae where the nudi seems to be feeding has a very geometrical shape, and I like how the bulb on the top right leads to the diagonal, where the nudi’s head lines up.
You might want to brighten up the shot a tad, so we can enjoy more of the lovely orange blur behind, which pairs well with the green foreground.
I wish you had a little more depth of field, so we get more details out of the nudi and importantly the algae. This would be a trade-off with the nicely blurred background, but if it became too distractive you could then opt for a snoot to make it disappear, and then if a black background isn’t to your liking, consider motion-blurring it (technique covered in this masterclass).
Just a few ideas, i’d love to read other members’ take on this shot.
