The eye, snoot, and mouth are nicely sharp but I am craving a bit more color, subject separation and maybe a slight adjustment to the composition/crop.
Easy stuff to do in post: A bump to exposure, and maybe a light brush of exposure to the horsies face to separate it in a subtle but natural looking way from its mucky environment. Evaluate the crop, I can see its in 4:3 so youve trimmed something off somewhere! If you want to lean into the symmetrical composition you have now, you could bring it in a little more and rotate it to the snout is at a perfect 90 degrees or you could open the crop a bit more and maybe get the eye on thirds for some breathing room.
