    Nicolas,

    Thank you. I ended up ordering a 14” MacBook Pro M4 Pro with 48 GB memory and a 512 GB internal SSD with the nanotec display. I also ordered two 4TB HS Samsung T7 SSDs. This should support photo and video processing on the laptop with local back ups—will have files on the SD card, the laptop, and the portable SSD until I get home when I can sync to the back up drive. I still need to figure out workflow and my back up scheme. Also whether I will use the MacBook exclusively or splurge for an Apple desktop for serious editing.
