Thank you, I do love to read into the judges thoughts whatever they can be gleaned from other contests. I am definitely starting to see the different” styles” which each contest favors, but Im here for that nitty gritty behind the scenes dirty computer work!
A few years ago my wife gifted me a 1 on 1 portfolio review with a WPY level contestant and It totally transformed how I edited. I used to be scared to do “too much” but after seeing how far they pushed the colors, contrast and used those brushes, it “gave me permission” to do the same. In contrast Ive definitely seen some really bad editing tutorials which have definitely lead some people astray into “too much” land, so I guess I’m chasing that “what am I really allowed to do” feeling.
