    Both are lovely shots, on the left one I like the ‘in your face’ effect, but I wish there was more breathing space to the left, so I my vote goes to the 2nd shot.

    Here’s a couple of editing suggestions:

    For #1, since one fin is missing, why not crop it even further (from top left) and embrace it as a close-up, not a full body shark photo. You’ll get even more ‘wow’ effect this way. While you’re at it, I’d try and sharpen the area around the eye (add texture in Lightroom), and would look to make that belly more neutral, on my screen it shows a slight pink tint.

    For #2, if it was my shot I’d crop a little from the bottom right, and I’d work on that shadow under the ‘nose’. Locally brighten it up and tweak the white balance, so the colour is consistent with the rest. I love the sunrays behind and I wonder if some extra dehaza (perhaps do it to the background only) and/or texture would strengthen them.
