Hi Dave, although challenging, these are some of my favourite types of photos to shoot. I like the subject choice and the strength of the lines from the arrangement of the wharf pylons. I agree with Nicolas’ suggestions, and for my taste I would also add that I wouldn’t use a larger mask size on the snoot, try turning down the power of the snoot strobe a little, and to power-up the sense of depth in the image try and time the shot so that there are some fish swimming past in the background (or have a model with a torch) – this usually works best with a landscape composition. It’s definitely worth persevering. Cheers
