I’ll give it another shot on Tuesday with the seahorses at Rye Pier. A faster shutter speed sounds like a great idea.
The viz at the moment is sensational (albeit freezing!), and with the sun shining, I’ll aim to work in some nice sunrays. Just wondering — should the area outside of the subject be darker to help the main focus stand out?
