This shot is a good demonstration that snoots aren’t just useful with macro lenses.
I really like how the spotlight effect is here to reveal/highlight that lone nudi, in a large scene.
Nice that you framed it against the light, creating more contrast.
I’d love to see others share their thoughts, but here’s a couple of ideas to improve on this:
-composition: i’d like that nudi lower, closer to a power point.
-magnification: you probably could get closer and make this guy bigger
-ambient light handling: the area towards the sun is a little blown out, I’d have increased the shutter speed.
It’s worth that you keep taking / practicing that kind of shots, few people shoot this way. Try and vary the angles too, I’d love to see a macro subject made bigger, and in the background get those nicely defined sunrays (frame towards the sun, but don’t include the sunball).
