Hi Chris,
Being able to mount a diffuser between the strobe and your modifier would be an industry first I believe (as in: combining light reduction & light softening).
The more features the merrier, but honestly I haven’t felt I experienced (yet) the problem that this would solve.
See, a more diffuse light soften shadows and tampers down the texture that you’re adding with strobe beam reducers. I do like more texture/”crunch” most of the time 🙂
