Hi Grace, this is exactly what my housing does, every time I need to change my batteries for the vacuum sensor.
At first I was just confused on what was going on with my vacuum and I was very worried.
It happened to me twice this last visit at the bridge, and both times I ascended with the emergency procedure of pointing to port downwards to prevent water from getting to the sensitive tech and ended the dive.
But there was no water inside the housing and in the rinse bin the light turned green again.
Both times changing the batteries fixed it.
