Hey Nicolas, thank you so much for your comprehensive Reply!
I had not really thought about upgrading to the R5 Mark II so far, because to me it was not the obvious huge improvement from my current camera body, that I felt like I could justify an upgrade.
Sure it’s better in some aspects, but I was going to wait until possibly the Mark III or so.
Considering the situation though, upgrading within Canon would be a heck of a lot easier than switching systems all together.
And I have been really happy with my Camera/ the Canon performance considering focus accuracy, tracking, the colors., etc..
And the difficulties with optics and all with the EMWL…I get it. And I’m sure it’s difficult for Nauticam as well.
Especially with all the possible combinations some chaos and confusion is somewhat understandable.
I just wish I was one of the “plug and play” users. 😅
I updated my firmware and reset my camera to factory settings as an act of desperation to make it work during my designated photography trip in April, but it didn’t make a difference.
The only thing that I have never done is update the 100mm macro lens, that just occurred to me and I should probably fix that.
Lenses can get updates, right? 🙂
It probably wouldn’t hurt.
