Thanks Richard. As you can appreciate there are lots in my trash that didn’t make it! We had the advantage of lots of time to work on photos like these, quite a few encounters with them, and experimenting with settings. I finally settled on a shutter speed of at least 1/1500 sec, F/8, auto ISO, and the highest frame rate on my Sony a1. The trickiest part of the equation was aiming the camera where they were going to emerge from the water
