I just got my EMWL and my Canon RF 100mm Macro lens back.
The results according to the camera store were sharp, and they also sent me the test images.
The test images were made in a tub, of a rubber ducks eye. Everything g is pretty dark, since no additional light source was used and I can’t tell by the lack of contrast, if the images were actually sharp.
On the other hand, my sample images I sent to the pros, to demonstrate my issues of the back focusing were deemed fine as well.
Thank you a bunch for the info that focus peaking wouldn’t work if something is backfocusing. That would make perfect sense and explain it.
I ordered a manual focus gear for my lens now, gotta make this setup work somehow, even if manual focus is definitely not ideal.
I learned that other people shooting the same setup as me, do not have the same problems.
So I unfortunately have no idea what is going on.
