Hey @NicolasREMY great to hear the adapter worked well for you. Thanks for doing a side-by-side comparison with the MF2. I hadn’t directly compared the light output difference between them yet, so that was interesting. Gaining an extra stop of light with the HF1 is still a nice gain.
I agree with the value of using the adapters as beam restrictors. I didn’t appreciate how useful that would be when I originally designed them. In Florida last week I had the adapters on both HF1s almost the whole time while macro shooting. Then sometimes I’d attach the snoot as needed. That’s got me thinking about ways to maybe make the snoot easier to attach/detach, as I did break an adapter while removing the snoot too vigorously. Lucky I had many spares 😀
