Great to hear the adapters arrived safely Nicolas! I hope you find them useful. I’m still in Florida and I’ve been using them all week for my macro shooting under BHB. I’ve been using them on both strobes as beam restrictors which has been really effective. And I can easily attach the snoot when I need it.
I’d love to get feedback from everyone who tries them. If there are any improvements that could be made, or if you encounter any problems, or if you simply love them and use them a lot 🙂
Just note these prints are effectively prototypes. They should work great, but they are printed with PLA so not as durable as many plastics. They could warp if left out in the sun, for example. When I get my new printer I’ll print more robust versions. Having said that, I’ve used mine for months now and haven’t noticed any problems.
Also, if they feel a bit too tight to screw on to the strobe initially, just work them back and forth. The plastic is soft enough to wear off any inconsistencies so it flattens out and fits snuggly.
Cheers! Chris
