    Just to give you some references of what the sharpness should be, here are 3 example shots of mine:

    • Moray eel: 160 degrees lens, F/22, ISO800, 1/30th. Pretty sharp, you should be getting shots like that.
    • 2 Nudibranchs: 160 degrees lens, F/36, ISO2000, 1/40th. Just OK, but diffraction does kick-in and I might not have been so stable. Plus the depth of field is very limited with animals near-touching.
    • 2 Sea hares mating: 100 degrees lens, F/18, ISO800, 1/200. Back-focus due to issue #3. The rear sea hare is sharp, whereas I had focused on the front one’s eye.
