    Hey, Everyone!

Wanted to give a shout out here to Think Tank’s Airport Advantage carry-ons.

    https://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/airport-advantage

We traveled to Bali/Lembeh Strait with these and they worked great! Padded interior and removeable inserts made them customizable. We had two and everything I didn’t want to check or have in my backpack fit in them. Flat macro port, macro and fisheye lenses, mini-flashes, hybrid flashes, snoot, all batteries and chargers, gopro, EMWL system, AND regs! We had no issue with fitting them in overhead compartments as they are smaller than most carry-ons. Also, super light and easy to drive (push and pull). They are soft-sided which gave me pause originally but wrapped up in buffs or clothing, everything was secure and safe. There’s also a pocket for a laptop.

I did check arms and floats and filters for the hybrid flashes. In my backpack, I carried camera in housing (unsealed) and dome port.

We’ve traveled a fair bit with my camera system and these carry-ons, by far, take the cake in terms of ease! I used to travel with a pelican case but that seems to draw a bit of attention and the foam on the inside isn’t customizable- especially, as my rig grew with new attachments/lenses. I also found that the pelican case was pretty heavy without anything in it and not the best if there is weight restrictions on carry-ons.

(Full disclosure, a husband, wife, or very understanding friend is essential to help tote everything too!)
