I forgot one important point: Golden Turtle is one of the very few contests where you’ll see how far each of your images went.
Not only that, for images which went to the jury (past first selection by “jury of peers”), you’ll get to know the individual score given by each jury member (with their names) for each of your photo. As well as the total score of your image, which you can compare to the “cut off” score of that category, to know how far you were from being awarded.
