You’re going to love Lembeh, wish I was going back. Not sure what you mean by “Shaun the sheep.” The pygmy seahorse(s) is at a specific dive site living in a large sea fan gorgonian. They don’t say, but I suspect that they are selective as to who they take since one misplaced kick could be destructive. You’ll probably be part of a group with a dive guide that will stay together for at least several days. Make sure to tell your dive guide what you want to see. If they don’t want to take your group, you may need to make a special arrangement. The dive guides are very knowledgeable and really good at working things out for you, but you can also talk to Charlie, the dive business manager if your dive guide isn’t able to make the arrangements. The on-site photo pro, Ross, is also very helpful. They have a well-stocked photography store in partnership with Backscatter. I couldn’t resist adding my favorite pygmy seahorse picture.
