Like Bill said, spot on focus for a tiny critter that does like moving around its home-bottle.
The snooting worked well in drawing the eye to the subject and I am happy with a black background here.
I wish the goby was a little less centered, and I suggest you crop a bit from the bottom right corner, to have the goby closer to one of the 4 power points.
Also, your snooted strobe was angled a little too vertical (coming slightly from the left of the photo I think), resulting in the goby’s left eye being not fully lit. Whilst you can probably brighten up that eye in Lightroom, next time I suggest you angle your snoot at 45 degrees to avoid this.
