Back in November, CUPOTY released the top 100 images in each category, and we had 3 TUC members placing there.
The contest has just announced the podium placements in each category, and it was great to see Gabriel Jensen @shallowseasgallery winning the 1st place in the underwater category!
I really love this photo which doubles up as portrait and behaviour shot, with a two-layer reading that is quite arresting.
If memory serves, this image also won an award in Ocean Art last year, and I remember picking it as my own favorite, when we had this live review of UPY/OceanArt/DPG Masters winners with Alex Mustard.
