Subburam, thanks for your advice, which I agree with. Dedicating dives to either macro or wide angle make things simpler and helps get better shots.

I’ll probably consider an optional CMC-2 for my wide angle config, for certain trips when gear or repeated dives are limited, only if I can arrange mounts to make changing wet lens easy and safe enough during a dive. It wouldn’t be my preferred configuration though.
