Interesting – at 1.2 magnification it would want to have a big improvement in sharpness to make it viable. When I want a “easier” focal distance I throw on an old inon UCL 165 (apparently equivalent to a plus 6? – cheap and effective and more forgiving than the 2.3 times SMC on either a 60mm or 105mm – maybe not as sharp! I know Alex Mustard has been asking for a nauticam in between diopter for a long time! Thanks for following up!
