Yes this the right place to share any contest results, especially when we have members amongst the winners: congratulations on your triple win!!
In the “upcoming contests” section I relay only global contests that anyone can enter regardless of geographies, but am certainly happy for members to announce local contests there, and of course share the results like you did.
Looking at the prizes on offer, this is quite an established competition, and I like seeing that there are distinct ‘traditional’ and ‘unrestricted’ categories, I am guessing this has to do with backscatter removal and other edits being forbidden/allowed?
I really like your 2 photos in the Beginner Macro Unrestricted contests.
I think one of them could have taken gold with a little more editing, not sure if that was allowable by the rules:
=> the shrimp: left eye is darker, it could have been locally brightened up to restore symmetry.
=> the nudi laying eggs: I’d vote for a tigther crop
