Hi @rickvollaro when it comes to building a website, my approach has been to go with a flexible host option, so that you can make a change to your website at any time you desire without having to completely change hosts. I’ve had my website for around 7 years, and I can confirm that your needs, interests, and preferences will change over time. Choosing a host that has dynamic options and serves your present needs is what I find most important.
I host my own website on Weebly: https://www.heatherseastheworld.com
I find it extremely easy to navigate and assemble, but sometimes limited in plug ins and SEO help. If I were to do it again, I would go with WIX.
I recently designed the website for Caribbean Islands Manta Conservation Program, a nonprofit I volunteer with, and I used WIX. I definitely think its user friendly and will even help you promote your website for free. You can view the website here: https://www.caribbeanislandsmanta.org
Caribbean Islands Manta website is still under construction slightly I built it a week ago lol. I hope this helps!
I’d love to join a website builder forum @NicolasREMY
