Some of your other photos have highest competition potential in my view.
It’s a lovely animal and clean shot, but I find that background too dark to really contribute as a negative space, and the cuttlefish is centered. Assuming this is for your local photoclub in Newcastle, I suspect juries have seen heaps of cuttlefish images, so you won’t get a novelty advantage.
