I actually prefer this crop. I think negative space is often underrated. Depending what you’re shooting for, sometimes it’s great to shoot a couple of versions of the same subject: one filling the frame, another with plenty of negative space, one with a blue background, one with a blackground, etc. It creates a versatility for how the image might be used in the future.
